There are some ways to achieve the mind in a calm position. This is the peace of mind state.
Here I discuss some ways to keep the mind in a peace stage.
- Don’t interfere in others matter unless they asked to do so
We create our problem because we interfere in others problem very much. This is why because we need to convince them that we are the right way, our thoughts are the most appreciable one, and our logics are the best one. This will happened to neglect the individuality in each person and this creates come problem which cause a big head ache to each.
- Do not lust for recognition
People who are very selfish will praise you a lot if they need any help from you and once it has happened they will not consider you. They will find a bunch of faults in you. They all are time depended people who are concerned about others once they need the help from them. So it is better to do your duties in a well and ethical manner. Don’t go for the recognition of others let yourselves into agony.
- Forget and forgive
This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive, Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.
- Change yourselves according to the environment
If you try to change the environment, sure u will fail in that since the environment consists not only you but a lot of people with verities of character and thinking. SO it is better to change yourselves according to the environment.
- Do not be jealous
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No. Remember everybody’s life is shaped by his /her destiny, which has now become his/her, reality. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.
- Endure what cannot be cured
This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control… If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully. Believe in yourself and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.
- Do not take in more than you can eat
We try to take more responsibilities which we can’t manage perfectly. This is to satisfy our ego mainly. We should know our capabilities and limitations. There is nothing like an ego problem once we are not able to do something or say NO to others. It is proud to say No once it is so rather than saying yes and struck in the middle while explaining the same. So it would be better to take the responsibility of what we can rather than take the whole.
- Meditate regularly
Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour every day, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily meditation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work.
- Do not keep the mind idle.
An idle mind is the work place of devil. Keep yourselves busy all the time by doing some worthwhile or interesting. Never leave yourself without doing anything. This will make you think and the thoughts will go beyond the limits. The past, present and future will go come into the screen. This might cause many illnesses to mind as it’s a desperate stage to think about all these rubbish things. So intentionally engage in some efficient activity which gives mental satisfaction and a fulfillment.
- Do not post pond and never regret.
Do not waste time in waste activities and thoughts like “Should I or not?” Days Months and years will go like this. You will not be able to do anything as you anticipate the near future in a prejudice manner. “Time and tide waits for no man”. Please remind this proverb and value the time, do things on time. It doesn’t matter whether you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and it is the best lessons in the life and a best practice too. DO NOT REGRET. Whatever happens is destine need to happen only that way.
